Concepts covered (+ Midterm)
- A hypothesis test is a statistical technique used to evaluate competing claims (null and alternative hypotheses) using data.
- We simulate a null distribution using our original data.
- We use our sample statistic and direction of the alternative hypothesis to calculate the p-value.
- We use the p-value to determine conclusions about the alternative hypotheses.
- Derivative Calculation: Computing the derivative of a given function.
- Integral Calculation: Solving an integral involving exponential and power functions.
- Vector and Matrix Transpose: Writing down the transpose of vectors and matrices.
- Matrix Dimensions: Determining the dimensions of matrices and the validity of matrix products.
- Matrix Multiplication: Performing matrix multiplication and understanding the resulting matrix dimensions.
